I am the Senior Technical Manager for the DiRAC Memory Intensive
service, the COSMA High-Performance Computing system at Durham University.
This is a tier 1 national supercomputing facility, used by people from all
over the world. I am co-chair of the DiRAC technical directorate and
chair of the DiRAC technical working group.
I enjoy exploring new and novel HPC technologies and lead both the Dell and
Rockport Centres of Excellence at Durham.
Previously, I was an instrumentation scientist and take an instrument
design approach when designing and building large HPC systems.
